Born in Evanston, Illinois, in 1977, to Mother Nancy and Brother Jason. Always loved writing and reading. Both were ways to get through the hard times.
She moved to Minnesota with her father, James, stepmother, Nesta and her two half sisters, Lacie and Jade. She eventually had two children Perry and then Cole. She now lives in Lake city with her Fiancee. She works three jobs at the moment. One pays the bills, one helps with paying her debt and the third she loves the most. (Guess which one that is).

At home with her brother and Mother, she wrote her first story. The second story followed, and in between many other ideas and stories, all written on paper. While her oldest was a baby, she started to rewrite her first story. Chaotic life, young mother, eventually she decided to find a publisher for her book. Young and naive, she sent her book out to a dozen publishers, and all of them rejected it.
She loved writing, but the editing was what she lacked. She started to edit, learning as she went, and with the help of a few really amazing people (Karen and Willow), she finally had a story. Then came her cover. An artist friend (Ryan Bishop) of hers accepted the task and did an amazing job. However, feeling the rejection deeply, even though the rejection came from an understanding place, she decided to self-publish.
(to this day, she wished she had waited)
With a beautiful cover in hand, a new blog that accounted for her journey, some cool cups, and a shirt, she ventured into the world of self-publishing. Now she has two books published and three different projects to finish.
Her sister, Lacie, and she went to a writers convention where she met wth a publisher who was interested in one of her future works. So she is busy working on that.

She is still knee deep in stories that are hiding in plain sight. Not giving up but it is a slow process. She has been concentrating on getting this website to a place where it is beautiful and trying not to throw her computer eveyrtime she sees her blog.
